Stacking the Shelves - Feb 22, 2014

Stacking the Shelves is an awesome meme hosted by Tynga's Review.

Bloggers share the books they've received, bought, borrowed - and I collect more and more books for my 'must acquire' list.
Quite a few books on my list this week, so let's get to it.

Almost everything I purchased was on sale or a freebie. Most of it was part of Entangled Publishing's 99 cent sale (all their February releases!):

And then there was this freebie that actually came upon NetGalley but I grabbed off Amazon instead:

I don't know why I found the Goodreads reviews for it so entertaining, but I did.

Then I had to grab this when I saw it being promoted as a nerd gamer romance:

But I have the feeling that the nerd part is going to be glossed in, "Oh, turns out nerds can be sexy too." which will be very disappointing because I've known this for years. Smart guys who have passions - be they video games, board games, D&D, computers in general, model-making, comic books, *whatever* - are very sexy.

Just saying.

Anyways, I also reviewed part one of Megan Hart's Every Part of You series this week, and I immediately bought the second part and read it:

Then Kobo had some sales:

And Harlequin promoted a 99 cent sale on this bundle:

I grabbed this one off Amazon because Amazon recommended it and I was in that book buying craze at this point:

And finally, I picked up this book because I grabbed the sequel for review and it looks so very good:

Phew, that was a ridiculous number of books.

I also got these for review:

Thank you to the Authors:

Stately Pleasures by Lucy Felthouse  (Already read, review up on Monday!)
Shadows of Ashphodel by Karen Kincy (Dieselpunk, so excited to read my first in that subgenre!)
The Redemption Engine by James Sutter (Editor with Paizo who publishes Pathfinder, one of my favourite tabletop roleplaying games!)

Thank you to publishers via NetGalley:

Best Kind of Broken by Chelsea Fine
Morningside Fall by Jay Posey
Boys Like You by Juliana Stone
Days of Blood and Starlight by Laini Taylor
Secrets of Seduction by Nicole Jordan

Whoa.

So what did you get in your haul?  What do you think I should read first? How glad am I that these are ebooks and not taking up physical space on my already overloaded bookcases?
