Blog Tour: Fracture by Amanda K. Byrne

As my days have become busier, I've discovered that I'm committing to an increasing number of book tours - possibly because I know this is a way to guarantee I'll take time to read books?

Whatever the reason, I am *beyond thrilled* that I signed up to host Fracture by Amanda K. Byrne. This is a book I wouldn't normally grab these days - the cover looks intense and the blurb was equally so. Still, something about it called to me. And thank goodness! You guys are going to love this one. Check it out.

This blog tour is being hosted by Xpresso Book Tours here.

Cover Reveal: This One's For You by Brandy Jellum

I love doing cover reveals! They get me so excited for the release of a book.
Today we're talking about Brandy Jellum's This One's For You which sounds like a gorgeous romance. From Booktrope, which (full disclosure) is a hybrid publisher that I work with as an editor and proofreader, this book is one that I'm looking forward to reading!
Let me tantalize you with this blurb:
All alone in a new state, Brennan Daniels has only the memories of her best friend, Reagan, to keep her company as she starts college. Reagan is the reason for everything Brennan does—before she died, she made Brennan promise to stay good until she found a man worth keeping. No boys, no dating, and definitely no falling in love—those were the rules for college, and Brennan carved them into the brick walls guarding her heart…
But there’s a fire burning behind those walls, and when Brennan meets Owen Scott, the (mysterious) new guy across the hall, she can’t deny the pull between them. He is everything she should never want. Everyone warns her to stay away—even Owen himself—but the heart wants what the heart wants, even if it knows that it’s going to get hurt—even if it means throwing old promises to new flames…

Intrigued?  I am.  Let's check out the cover...

Blog Tour: Arcane Forest Anthology

Today I'm hosting a blog tour stop for the Arcane Forest Anthology, a collection of nine 'first-in-a-series' stories by nine different authors, all within the fantasy genre. Published on March 19th, you can read titles from W.J. May, Chrissy Peebles, C.J. Pinard, Kristen Middleton, Karen De Havin, Kaitlyn Davis, Emma Shade, Kate Thomas and Natasha Brown!

I intend to do a full series of posts about this anthology, but probably not until early summer when I'm blocking out time to visit my ever-growing TBR pile.

In the meantime, I've got a full listing here of the books included (with some very intriguing titles!) and plenty of information about each of the authors. I'm confident you can find loads of information about each author's series on their websites if you're curious!

Book 1 by W.J. May – Rae of Hope
Book 2 by Chrissy Peebles – Eternal Vows
Book 3 by Kaitlyn Davis – The Golden Cage
Book 4 by C.J. Pinard – Enchanted Immortals
Book 5 by Kristen Middleton – Wicked
Book 6 by Karin De Havin – Jin in Time
Book 7 by Natasha Brown – Fledgling
Book 8 by Emma Shade – Finding Obscurity
Book 9 by Kate Thomas – Resounding Truth

Note: Some of these books are part 1 and may end on cliff hangers.

Author Bios

Kaityln Davis Bestselling author Kaitlyn Davis writes young adult fantasy novels under the name Kaitlyn Davis and contemporary romance novels under the name Kay Marie. Always blessed with an overactive imagination, Kaitlyn has been writing ever since she picked up her first crayon and is overjoyed to share her work with the world. When she's not daydreaming, typing stories, or getting lost in fictional worlds, Kaitlyn can be found indulging in some puppy videos, watching a little too much television, or spending time with her family.

Natasha Brown Natasha Brown was born in Nevada City, California. Being an only child, she resorted to using her imagination while exploring the forest surrounding her home (a nasty habit she hasn't been able to break). Her natural interest in fantasy ignited when her parents read The Hobbit to her as a youth, and from then on anything seemed possible. Once awarded with a Hershey's bar 'the size of a Buick' in her high school English class for creative writing, her passion and interest in literature has never dimmed.
She now lives in Littleton, Colorado with her husband, two children, and two dogs.

CJ Pinard A little about me – I’m a west coast native who has lived on both coasts and now lives near the middle, in Colorado! Coming from a family of writers and editors, I feel writing is in my blood and hope people will lose themselves for a little while in the fantasy and fun of my stories. I also love sweet red wine, the SF 49ers, and unlike most authors, I don’t have any cats. When I’m not writing, I can be found chasing around my kids or working at my day job, which I totally feel interferes with my real life, but it also gives me inspiration for my books, since reality is sometimes way more interesting than fiction. I also love getting notifications that people have sent me an email, added me on (like page) Facebook or (friend page) Facebook or on Goodreads. So stop by and say hi – don’t be shy! I’m not! Married to a Perfect Stranger by Jane Ashford

The Basics:
Married to a Perfect Stranger by Jane Ashford
Sourcebooks Casablanca
Historical Romance
Published March 3, 2015
Source: Received via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
Amazon Kobo Goodreads

Why I picked up this book:

I'm not the biggest fan of 'second chance' romance stories, but Married to a Perfect Stranger sounded like a neat twist. Instead of being a second chance, it's really a first chance for John and Mary, who barely knew each other when they married. I liked the idea of those bland first impressions being, well, wrong.

Blog Tour: Sebastian's Lady Spy by Sharon Cullen

First, can we take a moment to appreciate the model in the banner? Good, right?  Yeah.

Today I'm happy to be hosting Sharon Cullen's Sebastian's Lady Spy, the fifth book in her Secrets & Seduction series. From Loveswept, it was released on March 31st. I've become increasingly picky about my historical romance (possibly because I feel like I'm reading so much of it lately), but Lady Spy adds a healthy dash of spy action so it's already ahead of the pack....

You may remember (or not) that I reviewed the fourth book, His Saving Grace, in this series back in January. I thought it was a really unique book, and that made me curious to see what Cullen had in store for us in book five.

Be sure to check out other stops on the book tour, hosted by Tasty Book Tours, particularly because you can find other excerpts!
